50 A clamp

Hello
What happens if a 50A clamp is used in an installation
with 63A main breaker.
Loads in excess of 50A will normally be fairly short in time (think max 1 hour)

If you don't exceed for too long , nothing.
Trace reading would flatten out with magnetic saturation.
I wouldn't worry about it.

Load current does not flow thru the clamp. It just generates a magnetic field of fairly low voltage.
