i have a FML02B that has stopped working. I have tried every suggestion on this site to unbrick - without success.
I pulled it apart and it seems there is a wire broken. The red wire from the main board to the Flusko sub board has broken from the main board. It's a red wire, so I guess its power, but i cant find the broken end on the main board - even looking with a magnifying glass.
Can anyone tell me were it should connect to? See photo attached.

The wire is not broken, but the antenna of the onboard cube connector. Under normal conditions you will not have an visual defect, but either a power supply issue, a worn out read-only memory or a defect of one of the capacitors. So, please describe a little more in detail, what you think stopped working. Have you exchanged the power supply?
Thanks for your response - I was going mad looking for where the wire may have broken from - I didn't consider it was an antenna
My issues is:
Flukso powers on ok, but is non responsive - but wont pick up an IP address from router. It has been on ethernet fixed IP for a couple of years but now wont show webpage or respond to a ping.
leds:
power - solid red
heartbeat - solid red
globe - Solid red
Ethernet - solid red
wifi - off
I have tried every combination of pushing toggle button 10 secs, 30 secs, 120 secs and restarting, but heartbeat button remains solid red. It never flashes
I have tried the steps at https://www.flukso.net/content/no-ip-connect, but the flashing step fails
with message:
"Stderr:Expect arp with length 60, received 42"
"Stderr:Expect arp with length 60, received 42 "
Any ideas would be great.
Do you think this is fixable or do i have some fatal hardware fault?
A heartbeat is sent only on connection to a server --> https://github.com/flukso/flm02/blob/develop/openwrt/package/flukso/luas...
Did you try to directly connect your fluksometer to a computer as per installation? So, connect to it like on installation with a network cable directly to the computers LAN port and chose the default IP address http://192.168.255.1 ?
Refer to the manual https://www.flukso.net/files/docs/en/fluksometer.html#button
If a have some time ... , i will open my FLM02b to look for the red wire.
Now and then mine also stopped working, so i disconnect the power supply, wait 5 minutes and connect it back again. After 1 or 2 minutes the Flukso is back alive.
This evening i was playing with Node Red and connected extra mqtt-nodes but they where doubled, after 15 minutes, my Flukso stopped working, only 3 leds where up :
power - solid red
heartbeat - solid red
globe - solid red
I fixed the mqtt-nodes and started up again the Flukso.
Ok, not to look for the red wire if it is a antenna :-)
@ SBOYALL, have you tried connecting with Wifi ?
You can toggle this with the reset button, see the manual.
