Problem no.1: it seems I forgot the username / password for the web interface... either that or it just shows invalid data when I continue with no valid password (see screenshot). The MQTT page shows valid realtime data, though.
Problem no.2: is there a way to regain access without going through a full reset and reconfiguration?

Clear your browser cache and try to log on with default root/root (try to remember if you logged in via ssh and changed the default password - if you say "huh, ssh?!", then the default is valid); the image looks like something got screwy.
Otherwise, consult the nice documentation --> https://www.flukso.net/files/docs/en/index.html
v2 documentation here --> https://github.com/flukso/flm02/wiki
And note, if your password is wrong, the the FLM returns "Wrong username or password. Please try again." - so, start with the browser cache clearing.
Turns out the problem was far simpler: I was connecting to flukso via wifi.
Once I connected via cable, the gui behaved normally: accepted password, no empty fields, etc.
ssh works, too.
Since the webserver was responding (and sending MQTT data), I did not suspect a firewall issue at first.
Only when I saw that ssh was not working I tried connecting a cable.
