Hi, I recently purchased a Flukso V2b to monitor a S0 DIN-rail meter and a P1 Dutch smart meter (= ISKRA 382).
Yesterday, I installed the FLM just to start with the smart meter, had a little broken lead problem with the RJ11 cable but finally repaired, checked it with a multimeter and connected it.
The FLM works fine, but it gets no readings from the smart meter. To check, I registered a dummy pulse S2 sensor and if I pulse the S2 port, I see the pulses in the log and on the dash of flukso.net. I read the manual, but I cannot find any lead to start with.
On flukso.net the smart-main sensors are there, 1 for electricity and 1 for gas.
All leds on the FLM light up, except when the local laptop is not connected to the Ethernet cable.
Can anybody help?
Hi, happy to tell, I finally solved the problem...
The, with the FLM delivered, RJ11 cable for connecting the FLM to the smart meter was assembled the wrong way round, yellow was on pin 5, green on pin 4, red on pin3 and black on pin 2. After changing the RJ11 pins, the logging of the smart meter is working fine now!
Sorry and thanks!
Fransik, you live in the Netherlands i think. When the FLM v2b was delivered, you also recieved a RJ11 cable with it. Did you asked for this cable when you ordered the FLM ?
How is it connected to the FLM on port 6 a and b because there are 4 wires ?
Just curious to know ...
Fluc, the FLM v2b in the Netherlands is standard delivered with a RJ11 cable. The cable when delivered is not yet connected to the FLM connector. Somewhere on the forum I read, yellow to 6a, black to 6b, etc... I should have followed the instructions in shop, "pin 2 > 6a, pin 3 > 5-, pin 4 > free, pin 5 > 6b" and ignore the colors.
Lessons learned...
Thanks and regards.
Same problem here: the RJ11 cable was assembled 'mirrorwise'
Yellow: 6b
Green: free
Red: 5-
Black: 6a
I don't get it to work. Dutch smart meter and the provided cable from Flukso shop is, when looking with the connector pins downward and the cable pointing away, clip on top, from left to right: black, red, green, yellow.
Tried all the above suggestions, none work. Any suggestions?
Bertleo, Try here: http://support.watel.nl/watel_schema_telecom_data.pdf
Page 8, Tel. RJ11, RJ12. After that check: pin 2 > 6a, pin 3 > 5-, pin 4 > free, pin 5 > 6b...
