GMT GT2.5 meter

Hello,
Is the following meter compatible with any on the sensor (gas) or optical ?

There is a small mirror on the 6 digits but I would prefer using a reed switch
Thanks

The type sign says "1 imp = 0.01" - this indicates that there indeed is a pulse output - the flat something underneath the wheels may be the place to place the pulse sensor; reed switches work magnetically, so, as told so often, try with a compass on turning wheels if you see a change... - if yes, you may go with a reed switch; be experimental...

Thanks a lot !
Would it be better to go for a flat reed switch (or sensor) or is it better to go for a hall sensor ?

Go for a reed switch first as a hall sensor requires an extra power supply, thus more than just two wires; 2Eur (Reichelt) should be not too much even when changing to a hall sensor later on; you might also use a video camera with a digit recognition system ;-)

This meter has magnetic readout , there is a place to fit a magnettic sensor on the bottom of the digits.
