IP-Adresse 192.168.255.1

Hallo,

Q: How to change the FLM's default LAN IP address to stay in the DHCP range?
A: Use the default address to configure WLAN; WLAN gets its address via DHCP; alternative, toggle by button to pure LAN operation; then the FLM takes its address also through DHCP.

For all the above, see manual chapter 2.1.2 - Ethernet Mode; alle Antworten im Handbuch, Kapitel 2.1.2

Please let me know if I'm understanding this correctly:

So what you are saying is that if I want the "minute" in the Dash to work I have to set the ip of the Flukso to an ip that is inside the my network range?

@fafot - yes - as the minute tab reports locally only, you have to be in the same network. Be aware that browser security settings may also prohibit access - there are lengthy discussions on this and there (still) seems to be a difference in FLM02A and FLM02B variants (I actually have no issue with a 02A using Firefox 28.0 and deactivating the "page protection" by the little shield symbol left of the address bar on the "you are not in the same network" message).
How do you want to access your FLM to report data? Via LAN (cable) or WLAN? By default the FLM is meant to report by WLAN and be configured by LAN. WLAN pulls an ip address via DHCP by default (so is in the local network), LAN has the mentioned fixed address 192.168.255.1; for reporting via LAN (cable only, WLAN off) you switch the FLM's access mode with the toggle button at the case's side where also power and LAN go in. Then also LAN takes its address via DHCP, thus becomes a member of the local network - this is, what is described in the manual's chapter 2.1.2.

Thank you gebhardm.

My Flukso is currently reporting through WLAN and everything is fine. I asked the question because each time I am going to the "minute" display in the Dash I am receiving this usual message:
× Error - The call for sensor smart-main experienced a timeout. You are probably not in the same local network as the FLM.

Than I've found this thread and now I understand why I am getting this message.

BTW: It took me a while to configure my FLM02B with pulse inputs. I set "Current clamp port" to one an connected the pulse outputs to ports 2 & 3. It did not work for many hours. Only after moving the outputs to ports 4 & 5 it is working.
I am wondering if it is a bug and if it is there is actually no difference between FLM02A and FLM02B.
