Maximum lenght of the cable connecting the clamp and the Fluksometer ?

Hi,
My fuse box sits just a couple of meters outside of the reach of my wifi network, and I was wondering if I could use a longer cable to connect the clamp to the Fluksometer, and bring it within reach of my wifi access point, without loosing accuracy in the readings ?

Hi Patrick,

It shouldn't be a problem to increase the CT's cable length. The clamps output a DC signal proportional to the current passing through with some low frequency ripple (50Hz harmonics) on top. See this post for the spectral contents of the signal.
