Thanks for that. I wondered as a clamp type voltmeter uses a CC and it would be a handy way of keeping track of the mains AC voltage especially when my solar is raising the voltage to supply back into the grid.

A solar system should keep the voltage on the grid side constant - on the solar side voltage is in balance with current supplied by MPP tracking to reach maximum power (P= UxI) output... Are you sure you can measure the voltage with a clamp meter's clamp, not only with probes (at least the Fluke meter's measure just current with the clamp...) Check that ;-)

Just did a little search: There are e-field sensors for contactless voltage measuring; but that is a completely different technology than the actual current clamps...

Thanks, I understand how the solar works etc.
I can monitor voltage with Invertors own program but just 'wondered" about the Flukso ability with cc clamps.
I bet the principle of the used type of current clamps can only deliver the current (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_transformer); a solution to the additional voltage measuring is provided for example by http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/buildingblocks/measuring-voltage-with-...
