I like to reopen this topic on a new thread hoping to get the latest status on this as it is not working with any browser I tested so far. These are:
Safari on Iphone
Safari on IPad
Firefox
IE 11
Latest Chrome
Any News what can be done to make it work on either browser?
Erik
For Firefox and IE it is a matter of the security settings; FF -> click the shield symbol on the address line and unblock the current page; the same applies to IE...
See https://www.flukso.net/content/minute-display for Chrome
Also https://www.flukso.net/content/you-are-probably-not-same-local-network-flm - the topic is "mixed content" - G**gle is anybody's friend --> search for "site:flukso.net mixed content"
Safari on iPad 1 (a brick, I know) works like a charme...
Doesn't work for me, either, on any browser, with any of the suggested settings.
I can get Firefox to send requests to the FLM if I enable a web proxy, but the screen never updates.
I also noticed that I can see the FLM's maintenance pages by browsing to port 8080 instead of port 80, but for some reason the usual password doesn't work that way.
Same here, no browser works, and I tried all of the tweaks in the different threads referenced above.
And I think I am definetly in the same network. I see the browser is frequently trying to load something (network activity on my I phone) but nothing happens.
My FLM is connected through Wifi snd the firewall is turned off to be able to access the local confiaguration page through wifi.
What else might block this communication) or is another issue with the flukso.net server?
Anything else I can try, I don´t think its a browser issue anymore,
Erik
