Hi,
I have some trouble with my flukso v2.
- Sometimes flkusko forgets his wlan settings an tries to connect to a wlan named "zwaluw".
- Sometimes the wlan connection is up and the "last heartbeat" on flukso.net is up to date, but no data can be seen on flukso.net. By accessing the local json interface I get an empty page. Syslog looks quite good, the only error I see is "daemon.warn avahi-daemon[928]: Failed to initialize inotify: Function not implemented", perhaps this is normal?
- Firmware update is not working; flukso.net shows version 210, but hitting the upgrade button has no effect.
Can somebody help? What could I do to track the problem down?
Best regards
Ansgar
1/ If you push the recessed button for longer than 10secs, the FLM will restore its network defaults. This means a.o. setting 'zwaluw' as an SSID, which is our test network's SSID.
2/ You can ignore the Avahi inotify warning.
3/ You're indeed running an old firmware version. The FLM doesn't seem to be online right now. Could you restore internet connectivity so that we can try to update the firmware?
Thanks, I think I found the reason for my problems: after removing the housing flukso is running fine. With installed housing I noticed that the toggle button can't be pressed, so I assume it is permanently pressed by the plastic.
Does the problem manifest itself again when you put the FLM back in the enclosure?
It's now working inside the enclosure, but with loose screws. If I tighten the screws the problem is back.
Drill the hole one size larger to allow for misalignment.
Thanks for reporting the 'hardware' issue. As a quick fix, you can gently drill on the inside of the enclosure to give the push button a bit more room.
