I have a new Fluksometer connected to two sensors, Mains and Solar panels (inverter output). I have just noticed that when running motors, one the pool pump and the other an AC unit, the values displayed actually drop when the motor is started. I assume I am doing something wrong. Anyone have any ideas??

Can you describe where the sensors are located, ie. location on a wiring diagram?

Hi Bazzle
I'll try and attach a sketch to this message.
Basically I am measuring the PV output from the Inverter and I'm measuring the Mains as it goes into the meter. It seems to me that I am measuring current going both ways through the mains. Surely some simple formula could take care of that in the graph.
I have also noticed with the graphs that as the Solar charging changes the Mains changes as well. This seems to support the idea that I am measuring the Solar current going back to the grid.
Can't see a link to Attach a file, maybe when I click "save"?.......
Getting fed up, can't even attache a file.............
You can attach a file if you edit your original post. No files can be attached to a comment. If this does not work out for you, just send it via mail and I'll attach it.
I just posted a couple of links on this forum post that should help you connect the 'consumption' clamp in the correct location.
Thanks Icarus,
Managed to sort it out with the links you posted.
