support solar panels

I looked into several electronic power meters but, none of them i can use, because they don't detect which direction the current is flowing. I would like to see a device which gives my totalpower consumption and if i produce power with the solar panels i would also like to see that. It would need al least 2 sensors. Is Flukso able to support that?
Some days i produce more than i use myself, and other days i use more than i produce,...

Hi,

last weekend I finished installing the flukso installation;
the PV installation was installed on difficult location;
Also all electrical installations here in Iseghem are 3phase (400V) +Neutral
It was now moved next behind the certified circuit breaker.
the Flukso 3phase installation was ordered; and 2 of those clamps were directly placed on 2 of the phase cables...
the PV installation was connected after the circuit breaker on the 1 phase and the neutral;
I disconnected the existing cable of that phase and found a better position on my board; now a lengthy 6carré cable was put inbetween and on this one I put the last phase clamp of the flukso installation

the Belgian PV installation consisted also of an EM10DIN GreenStreamCertificate counter...the one that will "pay back" this installation within a few years... and this counter has an output for digital sensor...which exists on the flukso installation.

So it was allready counting my "real" power usage...now it could also count my pv installation...

This is great to hear since I plan to do a similar setup. So I would not need a clamp for the solar? (Also in Belgium, so probably similar counter)

Hi, there.
I just installed a Fluksometer v2 with 3 x 50A clamps.
I'm living in Belgium.In my area and because I use electricity heating (accumulators) I must use a 3 phase 400V N + 6.3 kWatt Solar panels (PV).
I have 4 counters:
day 240V for daily needs
night 240V for daily needs
night only 3 phase 400V for heating / boiler only
FINDER meter to measure the official kWatt generated by Solar panels.
I connected 3 x 50A clamps to each phase of 3p 400V and one small cable
between S0+ S0- and flukso sensor 4+ 4-.
I'm able now to measure:
day/night 240V + PV Solar Panels kWatt
Solar panels kWatt only generation
So I can retrieve day/night 240 V only by subtracting the PV's generated Watts. I have also a wireless kWatt SUNNY BEAM box measuring the PV kWatt's in real time.
But ... I'm missing the nightly (high) consumption of 3 phase 400V N because those wires are connected to another breaker (different counter).
I'm now looking now to integrate all of it and download the data to EXCEL.
Probably I need another 3 Clamps (+ fluksometer) to measure the nightly 3 phase 400V unless I can use your method and connect 2 clamps
to the daily/nightly 240 V and use the 3rd one to measure the night heating/boiler on 3 phase 400V.
I probably need to change the sensor set-up/constants as well.
Any suggestion welcome. Thanks
Marc.

Thanks, Bart,
I was able to solve the PV / house consumption as explained.

However, I still have following issue:
I'm missing the nightly (high) consumption of 3 phase 400V N because those wires are connected to another breaker (different counter 400V N 3ph). I'm now looking now to integrate all of it. Wires from the day/night 240V are connected to a 100 mA but can't be
mixed with the wiring of the night 400V heating meter (about 20.000 kWatth.
Do I need another Flukso meter + 3 Clamps to measure the nightly 3 phase 400V unless I can use a method to connect 2 clamps
to the daily/nightly 240 V (now 3 wires) and use the 3rd one to measure the night heating/boiler on one of the 3 phase 400V?
Any suggestion welcome. Thanks

Bart,

How can I file-transfer/download data from the server to my PC-platform?
(Windows7 or Linux Ubuntu/Fedora?. I want to use it in EXCEL spreadsheets!
Greetings.
Marc.
