I'm getting empty telegrams:
<date> flukso-336da5 daemon.err parsed[690]: /usr/sbin/parsed.lua:131: decoder returned an empty telegram
When I inspect the output of my smart meter (Landis + Gyr ZMF110) I see the following output:
- root@flukso-336da5:~# /etc/init.d/flukso restart
- Daemon returned 0 as return value. (total 6 times this line)
- root@flukso-336da5:~# /etc/init.d/flukso stop
- root@flukso-336da5:~# cat /dev/ttyS0

I have some of this behaviour in other posts but I'm unsure what to do next.
I have done a factory reset more than once. Should I issue a fp1
command (only once)?
I had not restarted the FLM yet and decided to run the
fp1
command to see what happens:No change in behaviour (ie still garbled output from the smart meter).
Any help is welcome to get this working.
Seems like the same issue I'm having since the beginning of december: https://www.flukso.net/content/no-more-readings-without-any-changes
Official support seems non-existent though I'm afraid. If you happen to find a solution please post it here.
Running the command "fp1" fixed it for me. This registers the virtual sensors for the smart meter and should only be run after a reset as it could cause the registration of extra sensors if run more then once. For some reason my Fluksometer lost the virtual sensors so running this command fixed it.
I did a full reset again (pressed the reset button > 60 secs), did a restart from the FLM command line followed by a
fp1
but it did not solve my problem ... I still get the garbled telegram text aftercat /dev/ttyS0
. I have never had a single good reading from my smart meter on my FLM so I think something else is wrong.Bart ... what's next?
It's working! After my last reset and
fp1
(a week ago) at first nothing seemed to have changed since I still did't see any proper output from/dev/ttyS0
but when I checked 2 days ago my dash is showing smart meter readings. Great!I have asked Bart whether he has done some magical after I sent an email but I haven't heard yet.
