Fluksometer for 1 phase PV and 3 phase consumption
by ErikKlaas on
Hi there,
I am trying to figure out what I need to measure my 3 phase consumption as well as my PV production.
Would one Fluksometer be enough to do that? Which should I order
so I am going to buy a separate kWh meter, I guess any with a S0 output will do?
What about measuring consumption with 3 clamps, will that be similary inaccurate?

Poor power factors may be an issue on the consumption side as well (if there would be no pure resistive loads left), but to my own experience (for nearly two years) it is negligible; I am still pleased with the clamps as they are the easiest and safest way to measure without touching the mains circuits (what also should not be underestimated).
Yes, for the three phases use three clamps and for the PV use a pulse counter as a clamp anyway would measure phantom loads... See, for example one of the many discussions on this topic in https://www.flukso.net/content/solar-panel-measuring-not-accurate - use search term "site:flukso.net PV measure" in duckduckgo.com for further hints...
As they pulse counter you may purchase one of the many models like http://swissnox.de/bestseller/swissnox-digitaler-wechselstromzahler-230v...
Thanks for the quick response,
