I have my flukso now for more than 2 weeks and these are my suggestions.

Out of the box, the flukso has a fixed ip-address.
It would be better that it first takes an ip-address over dhcp and in case no dhcp server is found, that is takes the fixed ip-address it now has.
That will enable most of the people to access the web interface without reconfiguring the ip-address of their computer.
And then you need to go look in your DHCP client list what address it got. My home network is reasonably large, only the servers get reserved addresses, that means that there are several clients fishing from the pool.
I did the setup of IP right after unpacking, attaching it directly to a notebook. Worked fine.
