Try placing it more in the center, i think i also used smaller sensors ....
The first picture already says it, where the magnet is: Impulse per 0.1 m^3; correspondingly the magnet is on the first after-comma digit; thus ON3PTZ is right to place the reed switch a bit more to be mid... A look at the documents linked in https://www.flukso.net/content/g4-rf1-gas-meter could have also revealed that there are meters with magnets on different pulleys - has the majority of people unlearned to experiment? scratch and wonder...

A impulse every 0.1m3 is not much, you can test the sensor the first time with a digital volt meter.
