How can I count time ?

Hello Flukso.
I don't own a Flukso yet but I have one question to ask.

I need to measure one input (central heating) by counting the time the heater's electrical circuit stays on. I could do this by monitoring the analog measurement but I don't want to waste one analog input for that.

Flukso has two pulse inputs but I need one of them to count time instead of pulses. Then I need to map time to fuel units (liters of oil) and plot the result.

How can I accomplish this?

Thank you.

Monitoring Fluksometer using a local PC in laymans terms.

I have asked in a couple of places and been directed to the user manual, etc. Sql, linux ????

Im sorry but I just cant understand what it means. I am not a programmer or software writer.

Is there an easy explanation of how to log and graph locally using an PC with xp loaded on it?

It would be great if the Fluksometer came with some software you could install and read without needing a degree in computer science.

I would even be willing to pay a small fee!

5 miniutes interval?

I look for a device exactly like flukso but what concerns me is that it does only provide stats every 5 minutes.

Is that a parameter I can change?

Can I get the data to my own DB at shorter intervals, apart from flukso web site.?

It would be best if I could poll the data from flukso with SNMP at lets say 10 sec interval then graph them with one of the SNMP tools.

weekly overview

Can you please add a weekly overview in the dash? I'm trying to tweak the floor heating by changing the settings each day, but it is hard to compare on a monthly base.

add profiles and auto suggest other users with comparable hardware

it think it would be also nice if we could add basic spec file to our profiles
that way it could be easier to find comparable users.

I'd put in n° of users, owns solar panels (and capacity), 24hours running devices like fridge, freezers, small servers, n° of hightec computers, electric cooker, ...

or am I dreaming?
