Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

Actaris g4 gallus 2000 and FLS02-F1

Hi.

I have an actaris g4 gallus 2000 gas meter:

specs: http://www.minolusa.com/pdf/ACTARIS%20--%20Gallus%202000%20Specs.pdf
installation guide: http://www.follinflo-controls.com/PDFs/diaphragms/Gallus2000_Install_wir...

Do you know if the FLS02-F1 would work with it ?

The page in the shop only says "The probe is compatible with the Elster BK-G4/BK-G6 and the Actaris G4RF1 gas meters."

There is a magnet (I check with a compass), but it does not trigger the Hall effect sensor I tried on it.

More information here about the sensor and what I have done already:
http://openenergymonitor.org/emon/node/1732

I chose a Hall effect sensor instead of a reed switch to avoid having to deal with debouncing. From the price, I guess the FLS02-F1 has debouncing included. Is this correct ?

How is the FLS02-F1 interfaced ? I see only two cables on the picture. Is the ground in the foil ?

Thanks

Some quick Flukso Questions

Hi there everyone.

I have just installed my Flukso meter and have a few quick questions.

1. Am I correct in making the assumption that I cannot access the web interface to check settings etc via WiFi?
2. What is the upload rate on the Flukso. I notice that the data is granular enough to pick up per minute samples. But this is clearly not uploaded to the Flukso site each minute.
3. That said - is this why the minute view needs to be local. I am on the same network as the flukso. Why then can I not view its output when I click on the minute graph?
4. How long is the buffer if it cannot connect to the wifi for ?
5. This is set up on a remote site. The network rack power cycles once every 24 hours (in case something crashes when im not on site). Will the flukso automatically reconnect once the wifi comes back up again (after about 10 mins).

Um

That ought to do for now !

Cheers,

Andrew

Minute Data Remotely

Would there be a way to read 'minute' data remotely.. ie. On a pc at work etc?

Gas reading on Actaris G4RF1

Till now, I have not been able to get any readings out of my Gas meter (Actaris G4RF1). First, I thought something was wrong with the contact, or the device. But after shorting the port I got readings, the same with using a magnet to generate a pulse. So I may assume a defect is ruled out.
Putting the sensor in front of the glass does not solve the problem either.
When the meter is running, I can see a small shiny square passing by on the second digit after the comma. Is this the magnet, or is this something else?

I'm out of clues now, maybe someone else can point me into the right direction?

Thanks.

edit: typo

Sensor Arexx Pro-88msn

I use the Pro-88msn sensor to measure my battery voltage. I measure 1.2 volts with a voltage divider at the connection box JB-T1. The measured value jumps extremely up and down. I get within a few seconds readings between 1.188 to 1.202 volts. The graphic curve moves zigzag. The normal multi meter measure exact 1.200 volts.

Is there an error in the connection box?

Can anybody help?

Thanks
