Flukso would need to ...

The place to talk at length about possible (and impossible) future features of Flukso.

session timeout

It seems the login session timeout for the flukso website loses my login fairly quickly (a few days?).

can this be extended to a few weeks? Split across a few devices, it seems I have to login a lot, which is not convenient - and on the mobile I get the "null" graph instead which is a little confusing until I realise it's not my data.

or is there a way to simply make my data public so i don't have to login at all? If I choose to do this, of course

Substitution of zero for null database entries.

When my data values are exported to PVOutput for gas consumption there are null values included after flow stops. It appears that for around 30 minutes after flow stops and no more pulses are forthcoming the records just have nothing recorded until after the 30 minute period the value of zero is recorded continuously until flow starts again. This causes incomplete graphs in PVOutput.
Is there some way to force these null valued to be substituted for a zero?

metering

Hi,

I'm using my flukso for quite some months now, and I find it very hard to get correct readings from it. First you have to try all different settings for every kind of sensor (water, gas, electricity) until you find a output that resembles consumption, second i would like to have some kind of meter on it which evolves over time, just like the reading on your regular meter. Why is this not possible ??

Eg for gas, my gasmeter has a meter in M³ on it, why can't this value be on the flukso site ? If you put the current value on the site, and from then the values are update, you should keep an exact reading on the flukso site as on the real meter.

Same for electricity and water, I would like to have a meter on the site just like the real meter !

Any feedback is welcome on this !!

Kind regards,
Bart

Flukso support for 2 wire Temperature Sensors

Hi, New to FluksoForum, have read quite a deal about the desire of many to be able to measure temperature together with their energy (kwh) measurements, but the conversation seems to have died off since early last year. There was some discussion around support for Temp sensors coming in a new release, but it wasn't clear how far this would go without extra (Dev type) handywork.

So as a newbie and keen energy minotoring buff, but not so handy with PIs and Ardunios I would like to ask how developments are going for simple Temp monitoring?

Longer history for minute tab

One nice feature to have would be a longer history when looking at the minute tab. Values could be buffered in the page, so I could see the minute values for more than the last 90 seconds or so. No need to buffer in the Flukso, I don't think. If I navigate away from the minute tab, the values can be thrown away so, when I come back, I have to wait for the history to build up again in real time. But it would be cool for experimenting with various devices to see how much difference it makes to "turn off this or turn off that."
