Installation

Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

[solved] No sensors available.

Hi,

I just installed an FLM02B (firmware 247), and added it to my account - it was added successfully, and is receiving the heartbeat correctly.

However, the Sensors tab is showing "No sensors available.".

I should have two sensors enabled (port 1 - electricity, port 4 - water), and both seem to be reporting correctly when looking at syslog:

  1. Oct 16 06:05:09 flukso-* daemon.info fluksod[1042]: POST https://api.flukso.net/sensor/[sensor ID water]: 200
  2. Oct 16 06:05:09 flukso-* daemon.info fluksod[1042]: POST https://api.flukso.net/sensor/[sensor ID electricity]: 200

(It also contains plenty of "processed pulse" messages.)

I also get seemingly valid readings from my MQTT pane:

  1. [1444976954,137,"W"]
  2. 1444976953: /sensor/[Sensor ID elec]/gauge ~> [1444976953,138,"W"]
  3. 1444976952: /sensor/[Sensor ID water]/counter ~> [1444975992,157,"L"]
  4. 1444976952: /sensor/[Sensor ID elec]/counter ~> [1444976940,2607,"Wh"]
  5. 1444976951: /sensor/[Sensor ID water]/gauge ~> [1444975992,378,"L/day"]
  6. 1444976951: /sensor/[Sensor ID elec]/gauge ~> [1444976951,139,"W"]

Any idea what could be wrong?

Thank you

Blank page in dash

Hi

The dash page shows nothing and even no timeout message, while all LEDs are lit up on the box.
However I can see the device and the sensors displayed on the corresponding tabs.

Thanks for any reply.

sensor configuration does not update on flukso.net

Hi there,

after updating my Flukso FL03001327 from firmware 232 to 247 sensor config changes do not show up on the flukso.net dash.
I formerly had configured input one as 3phase input and changed to 3 onephase inputs after firmware update.
While status in the Flukso device menu reflects the changes properly flukso.net still shows the old sensor configuration under "sensors" in configuration menu and does not display data in the graph for the second and third input.
Please help!

Flukso and hot weather (38 degrees celsius plus)

Hi Flukso team

I have had a Flusko running nicely for months now. Today has been an unseasonabley hot day in Sydney, and my Flusko has stopped operating properly - it's just showing 2, 3 or 4W usage, even though all the lights are on. This happened when the thermometer reached 38.8 C. It's now 32.5 C and it still hasn't started reporting 'reasonable' numbers.

I haven't power cycled the device yet, but can do if recommended.

This raises a question - what is the operating temperature of the Flukso?
Thanks for any advice.

Does the water probe support this kind of meter?

Hello,

instead of the grenade type of water meter I have this water meter at home (Belgium):

I was wondering if it would be possible to measure anything with this kind of meter.
I would like to know before I also order a water probe because it's not much use to buy one if I can't do any measurement.
Was also wondering are there alternatives for installing my own water meter in the circuit that actually gives a pulsed output (which don't cost an arm and a leg), I am a tinkerer who is not afraid of adapting my water installation if I have to ...
