Installation

Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

Sensor does not show up

hi all,
this is the maiden post of a flukso newbie, please be kind ;-).

I installed a FLM with 3-phased electricity measurement using 3 current clamps and 2 pulses from EM10 DIN pv electricity counters. However, these last ones don't show up in my dashboard. I connected the + port (42) to the FLM + port respectively.

I'd like to go back to the web interface of the fluksometer to see if there's a log or any more information, but I cannot access it anymore with http://192.168.255.1 I guess this is because I have no ethernet cable between my computer and the FLM since it's installed. Through my router configuration webserver, I can see the IP and mac adress of the FLM, but I don't know if that can be used to access the FLM?

I also observe warnings when I try to see the minute dashboard. I think I get warnings for both elec, pv1 and pv2 but I can only see the 'last' warning I think as it appears above the previous ones. Does the minute dashboard make a direct connection between my computer and the FLM while the other dashboards go over the Flukso server?

Thanks for your help,
Roel

Invalid Serial

Hey everyone,

I already have a Fluksometer and convinced my colleague to get one to.
But after reinstalling it at my place I found it linking up to the server but
when i wanted to add it to his account the serial was declined. Also
on my account it was not possible to do so.

The serial is FL02000345 but is doesn't seem to work. Did anybody else
have this problem at start-up??

thanks!

Optical pulse counter on IEC 62056-21 port?

My electricity meter has an IEC 62056-21 port, like the round part on http://www.dlms.com/images/ebm108.jpg. This should fit a device like http://www.telink.com.cn/resources/images/600003-01.jpg. But, as I understand it is quite difficult to interface a Flukso with this.

However, the output LED on the meter also flashes red for every Wh, quite bright. I figure it should be much simpler to use the port that way, and connect it to the pulse counter port. That should also be more accurate, as I won't have any problems with bad power factors.

So my question is: how would I hook this up to the Flukso? Can I just tape a photodiode to the meter and hook that up to the Flukso? Or am I overlooking things here?
