Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

No P1 readings after upgrade flukso device

Received my upgraded flukso today (thanks for the additional cable and fast round-trip!) and reconnected my sensors and connected the cable for the P1 bus.

I'm using 3 50Amp clamps and a (ridiculous expensive) Sensus HRI water sensor. Before receiving a 'smart' meter, I was able to monitor the gas-meter using a simple reed-relais.

But as things had to get 'smart', I'm forced to get gas information using the P1 connector attached to the ISKRA energy meter.

Connected the supplied rj11 cable to the flukso but I didn't see any readings.

The mapping on the fluksometer-v2b page says:

  • green > 5-
  • yellow > 6a
  • black > 6b
  • red > not used

Though, to get things working properly, I had to use to verify the pin / colour mapping and ended up with:

  • (P2) black --> 6a
  • (p3) red --> 5-
  • (p4) green --> not connected
  • (p5) yellow --> 6b

Perhaps a notice to verify the pins and not trust the colours is in order.

An completely different question; is the 'minute' resolution supposed to do anything?. The only (wrong) response I get is the "You are probably not in the same local network as the FLM."

ps: is it normal to get new MAC addresses although the labels on the back didn't change? because of some sane paranoia and not trusting unknown mac addresses, the dhcp server didn't service the flukso...

New user - Issue connecting Fluksometer in wifi network

Hi there,

I can't get the fluksometer to connect to the wifi network, the globe led is off after I configure the network name, password and key. I tested on my phone hotspot and it worked fine.

I'm guessing is an issue with the router to allow the fluksometer to connect to it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Internet interruption & missing data to pvoutput.org

Hey guys,

Have had some issues with our internet connection over the last two days - its still currently offline and i'm tethering my mobile to get online to ask this question:

I know that the fluksometer will buffer its recordings during an internet outage and when the connection is resumed, it will bulk upload all of the recorded data in one hit to flukso.net dash.

My question is how does say pvoutput.org go when pulling data from flukso.net after said internet outage?

Earlier I managed to get the flukso to connect to my mobile phone's hotspot and it bulk uploaded the data. The flukso.net dash shows the recorded readings pretty much complete for the last two days its been offline - but pvoutput seems to have only imported records from approx 7pm onwards from flukso and didn't import any of the days consumption/generation, that shows on the flukso.net dash

Any ideas?

Cheers
Adam

Number of clamps/phases

Hey,

I'm having 2 phases that i would like to monitor. So i bought 2 clamps of 50. However I couldn't find any documentation how the settings should be for the sensor (Current clamp ports & Number of phases).

For the moment, i've got 'clamp ports: 3' en 'phases: 1'.
When i put someting else, i don't have any output of the sensors?
So i think that these settings are correct?

But i've got some doubts of the values that i see. :$
Is there any information who these settings should be?

powers router off and on and flukso globe led will not come back on

When I power my modem/router off then back on again I loose connection to my Flukso ( no globe LED ) and the only way to get it to connect again it to power cycle the Flukso
Is this normal?
How do i fix this problem?
Cheers.
