Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

Calibrating watt readouts for 3 phase without N

Hi all,

I am really happy with the purchase of my FLM03E and now I am trying to pass the measurements of water, gas and electricity to EnergieID (https://www.energieid.be).

When comparing the meter readouts for electricity with the watt measurements of Flukso, I find that Flukso consistently measures 41% less kWh compared to the meter.

The forum offers great explanations about the difference between real power and apparent power, but could this explain a 41% difference?

Is there a way to correct this? I read in the forums that one could adjust the voltage of each line, but cannot seem to find how to make this adjustment in the interface.

My configuration:
- 3phase without N
- 3 current clamps of 50A
- a sample of the Flukso dashboard attached below
- a photo of the current clamps installation attached below

Note that N is connected, but not operational, measurement is taken on brown, black and grey directly coming from meter.

Thank you for your insights!

Kristof

Flukso online off-No Globe

I have fluksometer V3 with the globe off.
Settings appear to be ok
Flukso.net ping test appears with successful.
All the data is well configured and the send to a raspbery pi3 / emoncms location as well.
Only the flukso 5-door online page does not display any data.
I do not know what to do ... it's been since Friday at 3:00 p.m.

Has been working fine, one time or another gets off but after a few hours it goes online again. I have accompanied others flukso around and are working well!

thank you

Solar panels introduce complex setup.

Hi all,

I've been happily using the Flukso2A for quite a while now but since my solar panels were installed it became rather useless I'm afraid.
I've read that the Flukso can't measure current direction so when my solar panels start generating power the readings are all over the place.
My situation:
Main circuit board located in the front of the house: clamp is connected to the live wire coming straight from the public meter to the first diff as instructed in the manual. Worked like a charm as long as the energy was flowing from the grid to my house.
Second circuit board located in the garage: Connected to the main board through a lead of sufficient thickness (I think 6 or 10). It is actually connected on the same input as where the live wires from the grid are coming in to the first breaker. The PV is installed on the board in the garage.
The issue however is in fact that I have network connectivity in the garage but no way to get a cable to the garage for a separate lead into the flukso.
Further more the wire coming from the garage can be bidirectional as well consuming power or delivering power.

Are there any solutions to get this working?
I'm thinking in 2 directions. First of all solving the power consumption reading bit. Any pointers on how I can relocate the clamp to make sure I can get a good reading completely separate from the solar production?
Adding a second flukso in combination with a din rail pulse energy meter in my garage circuit box to measure the solar production to get the reading in flukso as well...

Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Can I use the S7 port for readout of additional S0 output ?

On the new flukso , I have configured :

- 3 clamps 50 Amps for consumption
- 1 gas sensor
- 1 water sensor
- 1 S0 output with EM-23 Kwh meter (solar)

There is one port extra available S7 . Can I use the S7 port for readout of additional S0 output ?
