Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

Flukso Water Probe - Delivery Price

I installed my water probe that I made using a small reed in my water meter http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b503/Molari1/WaterMeterNew_zpsda3113... but it is working only occasionally. So I looked at the Flukso shop and found a water probe for 9.68 Eur = 8 EUR without GST. When I entered my address in Australia the shipping to zone 5 cost standard 48 EUR !!!

It is slightly high IMO :)

So I am wondering if it will be possible to send it in usual Air Mail for few euros?

Also I am wondering what is the length of the Flukso Water Probe.

RTFM questions?

Hi,

I have a some short questions I would like to ask to get the full picture.
My IT knowledge is not a problem...I'm affraid of the non-IT tasks/choices.
Hope this forum can help me with it.

My intention is to measure:

o power consumption
o solar production 8500WP (3 phases?)
o water consumption
o gas consumption

1) So If I'm right I need the B model because I want to measure 4 different channels?
2) Where can I find the info on the type and amount of clamps I need to buy for the power measuring?
3) My meters are about 4 meter away from the fuse box. Is this not too long for the water/gas cabling?

BR,
Christian

No power (only water pulses seem to work)

I'm new here, and I have my flukso only a week or so.
The problem is that I don't see an electric chart on the dash. for water I get a chart.
I have a 3 phase installation with 100A clamps and 1 Water sensor.
This is what I see in the sensor table (sensor id and token made shorter) :
Sensor Token Type Function
d7...bf d4...ce electricity p1
ce...c9 ed...37 electricity smart-main
28...c7 bc...f1 gas smart-main
9a...a6 c6...ea water water
I only filled in the funstion P1 and Water into the device, I don't know whre the smart-main came from...

Any Idea?

Flukso site down again

It looks like every month or so there is a problem with the Flukso site. Last time it was a site certificate that has to be renewed, and I am wondering what is the problem now?

As Bazzle wrote last time, we are relying on the data and the whole idea of the Flukso meter is to have an instrument that is not computer dependent. I know that some people have computer backup for those kind of problems but IMO this is defeating the purpose of the Flukso meter for me and many others.

The problem today started at 9:00 am Australian Eastern time, that is 23:00 GST 6 July 14. Now we have a Flukso team here: http://pvoutput.org/liveteam.jsp?o=gss&d=desc&tid=860 so it much easier to identify that the problem is a Flukso site problem and not a particular user problem.

I am wondering if Flukso can do something in the future to prevent this kind of problems?

Going from 1 to 3 phases

Hi, I just upgraded my home installation from 1 phase 240V to 3 phases (connection in Belgium). The 3 phases are 3x230, NOT 3x380+N. I have 3 clamps.

Scenario 1: if I connect the 3 clamps and measure them separately (flag as "1 phase" in setup), what do I have to put as voltage level? Since there is no "neuter", the difference between 2 phases is 230V, but the clamp only measures one phase at a time... I read somewhere that I should put it to 130V. IS that correct?

Scenario 2: If I flag in the set-up that 1 have 3 phases, what do I have to put as voltage level? Again 130, or 230? And I have 2 50 AMP and 1 100 AMP clamp... Is that possible in this configuration? Since I only have 1 sensor I can configure, what do I have to put then?

Thanks, Johan
