Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

Flukso site down again

It looks like every month or so there is a problem with the Flukso site. Last time it was a site certificate that has to be renewed, and I am wondering what is the problem now?

As Bazzle wrote last time, we are relying on the data and the whole idea of the Flukso meter is to have an instrument that is not computer dependent. I know that some people have computer backup for those kind of problems but IMO this is defeating the purpose of the Flukso meter for me and many others.

The problem today started at 9:00 am Australian Eastern time, that is 23:00 GST 6 July 14. Now we have a Flukso team here: http://pvoutput.org/liveteam.jsp?o=gss&d=desc&tid=860 so it much easier to identify that the problem is a Flukso site problem and not a particular user problem.

I am wondering if Flukso can do something in the future to prevent this kind of problems?

Going from 1 to 3 phases

Hi, I just upgraded my home installation from 1 phase 240V to 3 phases (connection in Belgium). The 3 phases are 3x230, NOT 3x380+N. I have 3 clamps.

Scenario 1: if I connect the 3 clamps and measure them separately (flag as "1 phase" in setup), what do I have to put as voltage level? Since there is no "neuter", the difference between 2 phases is 230V, but the clamp only measures one phase at a time... I read somewhere that I should put it to 130V. IS that correct?

Scenario 2: If I flag in the set-up that 1 have 3 phases, what do I have to put as voltage level? Again 130, or 230? And I have 2 50 AMP and 1 100 AMP clamp... Is that possible in this configuration? Since I only have 1 sensor I can configure, what do I have to put then?

Thanks, Johan

I don't get it

Hi guys,

I recently bought myself the Tesla Model S and to follow up the consumption I purchased a flukso meter.
At home I have 3 phases 220V/24A, I added a transfo inbetween to have 3x380 output.
Now, following is where I get confused: (see attached pictures)
in Watt I see that it consumes 17500w
in Wh I see that it consumes 4,5k Wh

the clamps (50Amp) are connected to each of the incoming phases arriving at my fusebox.
can someone enlighten me on what is wrong here?

Invalid Serial Number

I intend to setup the FLM device I have.
Following the manual I did all the steps right. But when trying to register the device in the website I get the following error!
"Please specify a valid serial number."

Did anyone experience the same or do you have any idea what is going on.

P.S: I should clarify that this device is registered with another username before, but that user is not active anymore.

Disable Wifi, change IP address and disable DHCP

Hi,

I am sorry if I come across like a newbie but after spending 2 hours reading different topics in the forum I am still not sure how to change basic things on my new Fluksometer. All I want to do is connect my fluksometer to my router using a cat5 cable. So I only need to change the fixed IP address of the FLM and disable the DHCP. Where do I start?

There is that discussion https://www.flukso.net/content/no-ip-connect but it seems a little old and I am afraid to corrupt my new Flukso.

Can please anyone give me some directions?

Thanks
Luke
