Questions about installing and configuring a Fluksometer.

3 phase vs. 1 phase

What happens if I connect to 0-wire on a 3 phase power system and set settings to 1 phase power: does it meter correctly?

Kaifa 304 P1 reading stopped

The P1 readout of my Kaifa 304 had worked for some time but a few months(?) ago it stopped. I read all kinds of similar problems on the forum but it is unclear to me what to do.

I logged in via ssh to test the connection to the Kaifa via:

  1. cat /dev/ttyS0
  2. Kh||||pOLbb|PsddddddrpDDDD!nph^C

so that is garbage. Then with different baud rate settings it works:

  1. cu -l /dev/ttyS0 -s 115200 -e
  2. Connected.
  3.
  4. 1-0:2.7.0(00.000*kW)
  5. 0-0:17.0.0(999.9*kW)
  6. 0-0:96.3.10(1)
  7. 0-0:96.7.21(00032)
  8. 0-0:96.7.9(00011)
  9. .........
  10. 0-1:24.4.0(1)
  11. !FB23
  12. /KFM5KAIFA-METER

Thus, it is clear that the connections are allright, still the flukso software never gets the telegrams.
It seems he flukso progam always sets the baudrate back to 9600 and therefore does not reads the telegrams properly. What should I do in the configuration to make it work again? Can I do something or does it need firmware upgrade from flukso.net?

Wifi connection

Dear all,

I follow the online manual to install my flukso, but I encounter some trouble trying to connect with the Internet via my wifi network…

Here follows a description of the steps I undertake, hopefully someone can point out my mistakes;
(pictures: http://s76.photobucket.com/user/Marieline/library/)

While my pc is connected to our wifi network ‘SCARLET_WIFI_5’, I connect it to the flukso with an ethernet cable (see yellow cable, picture ‘Flukso’). The Ethernet, Power and Heartbeat LED blink.
In the ‘Network and Sharing Center’ both my wifi network and the ethernet connection ‘Network 2’ are listed (see picture).

I surf to http://192.168.255.1. The ‘status’ screen is filled with errors (picture ‘Flukso status screen’), so I move to the wifi screen first. Here I fill in ‘SCARLET_WIFI_5’ as SSID. I use the password I chose when I installed my wifi network as ‘key’ (picture ‘Flukso wifi screen’).

I push the ‘save’-button. The update of the wifi configuration starts. As the manual already said, the first two steps don’t take long. The step ‘re-initializing wifi stack’ however seems to be endless.

I repeated this process several times, both with the wifi network at home and at work, waited for more than 3 hours, but never got through the step ‘re-initializing wifi stack’.
This way the ‘status screen’ stays erroneous and the Globe LED never gets to blink.

Can anyone give me some advise?

Greetings,
Marieline

Gas, conversion m3 to liter

Hi,

What does Flukso uses for conversion parameter of gas? 1000 liters = 1 m3? Because I read on several sites that gas is not like water and that conversion doens't fit for gas. My gas meter has an 0,01 m3 per pulse output, is it safe to say that's 10 litre per puls or does Fulkso has another conversion rate?

thx
